Herd Sire Information
Basin Rainmaker 4404 is a bull that found the GENEX directory and he has been used for 4 years now. His heifers have been some of our favorites and all of his bulls have been great sellers and highly sought after by many breeders.
Basin Jameson 1076 was the high seller at Basin Angus in 2022 for $600,000 and he is a looker. He was used for his genetics as he is a relative to Basin Rainmaker 4404.
JCH HKN Logo 0166 was a bull Lloyd bought in 2021 and was one of our favorite bulls for his depth, width and pedigrees as he goes back to SAV Final Answer 0035. His scrotum measured 47 cm as a yearling. This bull has some heifers in the commercial herd that are very great mothers and are very fertile, producing some very promising offspring.
CAR Hobson G733 is a bull that I found in the Origen directory that was fairly young and was not yet as well-known as the rest of the bulls that have been used. He is turning out to be a favorite. His calves are born out of first calf heifers and are born small and get up and eat very very quickly, they were some of my biggest calves come branding season.
Sitz Logo 11821 is the bull I purchased at the 2022 Sitz Fall Production sale. He has been a great asset to the herd for a few years and has made some very strong, thick, and deep bulls and some very nice heifers that calve very easily and have been very gentle and easy fleshing cattle.
